NEW Course Number 3111 - 2008 NEC® CODE UPDATE WITH TDLR LAWS & RULES
Description: This is a 4-HOUR Texas Electrician continuing education class based on the 2008 NEC code changes, and
the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Electrical License Law and Administrative Rules.
This course is approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for renewal of all Texas State Electrical Licenses.

Due to state regulations, no one will be admitted to the seminar after it begins. Tardiness is not an option.
Cancellation Policy
To receive a full refund, cancellation must be received in writing via fax, mail or email at least three (3) days prior to the seminar. If notification is received less than three (3) days in advance, registration can be transferred to another person at the time of cancellation. If no notice is received, the registration fee will be forfeited.
If inclement weather, illness, minimum size class enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances prohibit a seminar from being conducted, a full refund will be given to each person registered. Cancellation requests should be submitted to CenTex IEC, 5321Industrial Oaks Blvd., Suite 111 Austin, TX 78735 or they can be faxed to 512-832-1883 or emailed to Erica Waiser .
CenTex IEC reserves the right to cancel the seminar and move the attendees to an alternate date if minimum class size is not met.

Professional Electricians Training Program - CODE & THEORY
Description: This electrical course is a comprehensive "Intensive Code Training Class" designed around “Understanding the National Electrical Code" by Mike Holt.
National Electrical Code
A code curriculum designed by electricians for electricians. Over the twenty-four week period, you will learn how to find and use NEC rules, general installation requirements for branch circuits, feeders and services, grounding and bonding, conductors, cables and raceways, boxes, panels, motors and transformers.
And...Electrical Theory
This program includes the following theory subjects as well: Ohms Law, series and parallel circuits, multi-wire circuits, power factor and efficiency, necessary for a more complete understanding of the Code.
Plus...Electrical Calculations
Learn to properly size and protect conductors for voltage drop and ampacity, Master raceway and box sizing, motors and transformers and load calculation for dwellings both standard and optional methods.
This class is open to individuals who have not attended a formal apprenticeship program. Students must have at a minimum 4 or more years of field experience to enroll in this class.
When: Starting Monday Night, June 16, 2008 and ending December 15, 2008 (24 Classes, 4-hours per class, 5pm - 9pm)
